Bringing in an Geometric Alignment in to ContextCapture viewer
Hi everyone, I have a CC model of a water canal. I would like too show an alignment string with chainages, so that we can relate parts of the model to a given chainage value. Does anyone know if there is a way we can do this? I know that I can just create a string in Descartes and label it, but I would like to bring the string and chainage back in to the CC Viewer so the client can see it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

[Contextcapture] Pair selection maximal distance(loop or sequence)
Is there a custom low-level settings to lower max distance between photos to 1 when using loop or sequence mode? Sometimes even if set that photos are in sequence some photos are mixed creating wrong model. We need to have very strict setting for sequence.

Question About ContextCapture Point Cloud Details & Settings
Hello, i am trying to decide which software to buy so i am evaluating different SFM software for surveying work. I have processed the same data with ContextCapture and other similar software.
I generally prefer the workflow of ContextCapture but in the result i notice that the point cloud is missing some details (and noise) after the reconstruction like power lines and poles.
I attach two images, the first is made with CC and the second with another sofware using the exact same data and generally default settings.
The point cloud of CC has about 20 million points, the point cloud with the other software has about 12 million points.
The data was captured using a Phantom 4Pro v2.0 at height of 60m. The data was processed in CC with extra precision.
Is there a setting in CC i should try that could give me more detail so that power lines, poles and lamps are calculated in the final result?

Hybrid productions using photos and scans
I am attempting to produce a model using inputs from Topcon GLS-2000 laser scans exported as .e57 and photos acquired with a DJI drone. I have followed the suggested workflow of running an AT on the photos first, importing the point cloud(s) and then re-running the AT with the scans present. This is where I have the problem - the option for "use point clouds for adjustment" is greyed out and cannot be selected.
A clue may be after importing the scan and going to 3D view, there is a warning that not all the data is visible due to differences in coordinate system.
So my question is: why are the point cloud adjustment buttons greyed out and do the photos need ground control in order to put them into the same coordinate space as the scans? Since there is no mention on the tutorial video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BN0q-5YbMbY I was really hoping the alignment would be automatic as this would hugely increase our workflow.

AT failed during Point cloud preprocessing
Hi all,
I am using CC v10 and I keep trying to run an aerotriangulation using the point cloud for adjustment. I have successfully done this with other projects for the same LiDAR data. I have recently pulled up this older project and when I try to run an AT with point cloud adjustment it fails during point cloud preprocessing.
I have tried removing the point cloud and loading it into the project again but it keeps failing still. There is nothing wrong with the point cloud data, I can still pull it up when I look into the 3D view and it looks correct with the tie points, I just want to run another AT with the point cloud. Is there something else that someone can suggest that is going on? Maybe a setting or adjustment I can do?

Missing camera model "UltraCam Osprey Mark 3 Premium f120"
Hi all. I am trying to build some models from vertical and angled aerial photo's. The photo's has been aquired with "UltraCam Osprey Mark 3 Premium f120" which takes pictures in 5 directions. I am having a hard time getting CC to understand that I am using images with 5 different directions from the camera. I have tried controlling the photo's in photogroups but CC just place the pictures at random, meaning that some photo's will end up in the same group even though they have different cone ID's

ContextCapture FAILED: failed to init rasteriser
I have successfully produced a 3D mesh and can produce a tiled orthophoto/DSM, but I cannot produce an untiled, continuous orthophoto. It seems that every time I try to produce a figure with a maximum image part dimension greater than 20000 pixels I get a 'FAILED: failed to init rasteriser' error. Is there something that I am missing/doing wrong, or is there a fixed limit to the maximum image part dimension and if so what is it?

ContextCapture - OBJ models not produced in specified projection
Hi,
I'm new to ContextCapture so this might be something pretty obvious that I have missed, but for some reason all .OBJ productions are always produced in somekind of relative coordinate system, and not in the one that I have specified. I know this is not limitation of the format, as I have made models for the same area in another photogrammetric software as well.
At the same time, .LAS point clouds are produced correctly at set projection.
Any ideas appreciated!

Contours in Context Capture Editor
Contours in Context Capture Editor: I have been able to display contours for a scalable terrain model. Now, how do I adjust the contour interval and text size/spacing? They display on every even foot. I need them to display on 0.1 foot intervals for minor contours and 0.5 foot intervals for major contours. The elevation text labels are giant size, needs to be much smaller.

what is the system requirement for Run the context capture using 4500 images?
I have 4500 images and 8 control points. first I have run 1000 images , After aerial triangulation
30 % photos not reconstructed .The out put of 3d view not aligned correctly. how to rectify this problem any one can suggest me.

What is the difference between RMS of distance to ray and RMS of 3D errors in context capture ?
And which one correctly leave the positionning information of the model ?
I don't get the difference between them.
